A focused loop into northern Kenya. Two nights in Samburu for its own cast of arid-country species — reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, gerenuk, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich — plus big elephant herds and leopard along the river. Then Ol Pejeta, East Africa's largest black-rhino sanctuary, home to the last two northern white rhinos and a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees. Genuinely wild, and blessedly free of crowds.
