About this experience
Kenya's wildlife is inseparable from its people, and this trip puts culture alongside the game drives. In the Maasai Mara you spend time in a Maasai community — the dances, the cattle, the stories — with warriors who guide you across land their families have kept wild. Then north to Samburu, cousins of the Maasai and keepers of the arid frontier, for their villages, their bead-work and their own herding way of life. Real encounters, hosted by the communities themselves, wrapped around excellent wildlife.

Yes — we work with communities who host visitors on their own terms and are paid directly, so the money reaches the people you meet. It's a real exchange, not a staged show, and your guide helps you engage properly.
Is there still plenty of wildlife?+
Absolutely — you get strong game drives in both the Mara and Samburu. The culture is woven in alongside the wildlife, not instead of it.
