Cancellations and refunds

A plain summary of our Terms of Service. The numbers here come from the same source as checkout, so they always match what you're shown when you book.

How you pay

• 30% deposit to confirm your booking; the balance is due 45 days before departure.
• Pay in full at checkout and get 3% off.
• If you book less than 45 days before departure, the full amount is paid at booking (with the 3% discount).
• The price you see includes taxes, park fees and everything listed as included. There are no booking fees added at checkout.

If you cancel

Days are counted from your departure date, using the date we receive your cancellation in writing. Costs already paid to third parties that they won't refund (for example a flight, or non-refundable lodge nights) may be withheld; we'll show you exactly what and why.

How to cancel

Email hello@bookaratours.com or message us on WhatsApp with your booking reference. We'll confirm in writing. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 14 business days.

Changing dates

Ask us before cancelling: we can often move your dates, subject to lodge availability and any price difference for the new season.

If we change or cancel

• If we make a major change to your trip, you can accept it, switch to another trip, or cancel for a full refund of what you paid us.
• If a price rises after booking because of government park fees, fuel or tax changes, any surcharge is capped at 5%. Above that you can cancel for a full refund.
• If events outside anyone's control stop the trip (for example a park closure or travel ban), you get a travel credit for everything you paid, valid for 24 months, plus any cash refunds suppliers give us.

We strongly recommend travel insurance with cancellation cover from the day you book. It's a condition of booking.
