You get a private 4x4 fitted with bean-bag supports and a charging setup, low-window seating, and a specialist guide who reads the light and animal behaviour so you're in position before the action — not chasing it. Five nights in a conservancy means off-road access, no time limits at a sighting, and the freedom to stay out for golden hour at both ends of the day. Suits everyone from phone-shooters to pros.

Day by day
What each day looks like, from pickup in Nairobi to drop-off.
Fly or drive in. Afternoon orientation drive — your guide learns your kit and goals, and scouts the resident prides for the days ahead.
Out before dawn for first light, back after sunset. Full flexibility — we stay with a sighting as long as the light and the moment hold.
Targeting specific shots — cheetah on a mound, backlit dust, river action. Bush breakfast in the field. Optional night drive for nocturnal species.
Off-road in the conservancy for eye-level portraits and clean backgrounds. A hide session at a waterhole if conditions suit.
A final dawn shoot, brunch, then fly or drive back to Nairobi with a full memory card.

A 30% deposit holds your dates, and the balance is due 45 days before you travel (book closer than that and you pay in full). Cancel 90+ days before departure for a full refund, 60–89 days before for 50% back. Full terms.

Do I need professional gear?+
No — the trip works for everyone from phone-shooters to pros. The advantage is positioning and time: your guide gets you in the right spot in the right light, which matters more than the camera.
Why a conservancy for photography?+
Off-road driving (banned in the national reserve) lets us get the low angle, clean background and proximity that make wildlife images sing — plus night drives and no crowds blocking your frame.
Can non-photographers come along?+
Absolutely — partners and friends enjoy the same unhurried, premium game-viewing. The vehicle is private, so the pace suits everyone.
