20-Day Kenya, Tanzania & Zanzibar Seniors Safari
Three weeks at a gentler pace: Kenya's conservancies, Rift Valley lakes and the Mara, Tanzania's Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire, then five nights on Zanzibar to finish.

About this experience
This trip gives you time. Two nights in the Mara, the Serengeti and Tarangire, a few unhurried mornings and a long beach stay at the end make it a comfortable choice for travellers who don't want to rush. Along the way there is more than game drives: the Karen Blixen Museum, a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, Olduvai Gorge, time with the Hadzabe at Lake Eyasi and a village visit at Mto wa Mbu. The last five nights are on Zanzibar, split between the beach at Nungwi and the old streets of Stone Town.

Signature experiences
Optional extras we can add to this trip. Prices are per person and confirmed when you book.
Chilled drinks on a ridge as the sun drops and the sky turns — a quiet, golden end to a day of game drives.
A lantern-lit table set out under the stars, your own chef and a crackling fire — the safari dinner people remember for years.
Spend an hour in a working manyatta — the jumping dance, fire-making, and a look at daily Maasai life, hosted by the community itself.
On foot with an armed ranger — tracks, plants, birds and the small details a vehicle drives straight past.

Common questions
Is the pace manageable?+
The trip is set up to be unhurried: two nights in the Mara, the Serengeti and Tarangire, a few slow mornings, time to rest at the lodge in the heat of the day and five nights on Zanzibar at the end. Some days do involve long drives, such as the border crossing from the Mara into the Serengeti. If you have mobility needs, tell us and we'll plan around them.
Will we be travelling with other people?+
No. It's a private trip — your own vehicle and guide, and nobody else joins. If you'd like to change a lodge, cut a stop or add a night, message us and we'll quote it.
What do we need for the border?+
You need a Kenya eTA and a Tanzania visa, and we help you apply for both. The crossing at Isebania is part of the drive on day 7.
